Monday, December 2nd

DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

Advent marks a period of preparation for the coming of Christmas and the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, the Light of the World. Our Advent theme for this week is “Living Christ’s Mission… Waiting in Hope.” This tells us that Jesus brought us great hope when he was born as a little baby in a manger. He brought light to the world!

Loving God,
Thank you for the light of Christ during this Advent season.
May we ready our hearts for the celebration of your birth at Christmas.
Help us also remember those who are less fortunate than us
during this time of Advent.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen
