DAY 1
MORNING PRAYER
Today’s prayer was written by an Ecole St. Mary High
School student.
Dear God,
Thank you for giving me a loving and caring family.
I pray for those who are struggling with their lives
and may they eventually find a sense of hope.
Thank you for everything you’ve
done for us.
Amen

The Loran Foundation seeks to recognize students that demonstrate character, leadership potential, and service to the community. They are looking for young people who deeply value honesty, are curious by nature, and are interested in a wide range of subjects. The scholars they select are willing to take meaningful risks, show a sustained commitment to service in the community, have taken the initiative to create positive changes and are interested in working toward a better world. 36 Loran Awards are available across Canada at up to $100,000 over 4 years. More than just financial support for post-secondary studies, the Loran Award is a comprehensive four-year leadership enrichment program comprising mentorship, funding for summer work experiences, and participation in a lifelong network of inspirational, values-driven peers. Students can submit their applications at apply.loranscholar.ca They may also view the award overview, information sheet, sample application form, and a recording or a Loran Award Information Session. The deadline to submit all applications for the Loran Award is Wednesday, October 11,2023 before 8:00 pm ET. All eligible students will be welcome to apply by filling out the application, uploading a transcript, and naming a reference. School sponsorship is not required.
