DAY 1

MORNING PRAYER

On Monday we will celebrate World Food Day. It is a day where we are thankful for the food we have available to eat, but also think about good food and how it is distributed in our society and worldWe are asked to be good stewards of the food we have available, and to not waste it, as there are many who go without.

Loving God,

Thank you for the food you provide for us.

Help us to remember that we are all brothers and sisters

and it is our duty to share the resource of food with our world.

Help me not to waste food,

and to work so that good food can be distributed

to the hungry in our community

and around the world.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen
