DAY 1
MORNING PRAYER
Sometimes we see
others who are suffering, and we are unsure what to do to help. One thing we
can do is offer consolation. To console does not mean to take away the pain,
but rather to be there, and say to someone, “You are not alone.” Jesus asks us
to share our faith by being there for others, in our family and community.
Lord of love,
You have given us the ability and guidance
to help each other.
Help us to truly be with one another,
when they feel alone or suffering.
Help us
to be your hands and feet in our world,
and to be a beacon of your love.
During this Lenten season,
let us be a share our faith as we follow Jesus.
Amen
