DAY 2
MORNING PRAYER
Each day holds a
surprise - but only if we expect it can we see, hear, or feel it when it comes
to us.
Let’s not be afraid to receive each day’s surprise, whether it comes to us as
sorrow or as joy. It will open a new place in our hearts, a place where we can
welcome new friends and celebrate more fully our shared humanity.
Lord Jesus,
As you touched the eyes of the blind man,
touch us so that our eyes may be opened
so that we can “really see” the many
wonderful things around us
and in our own lives.
Then with open eyes,
help us to thank you for the many blessings that surround us,
each and every day.
Through Christ our Lord,
Amen
