DAY 2
MORNING PRAYER
On Sunday, our
liturgical year will move from Ordinary Time to Advent. Advent is a time when we get ready for the birth of Jesus. So, what does it mean to be ready? Advent offers us the opportunity to look at the choices we are making and to see if we are ready for jesus to be part of our lives.
Loving Father,
As we begin our Advent journey,
help us to look
at the things we are doing
and changing the
things that are hurtful.
Help us to
prepare our hearts during Advent,
so we can truly
welcome the Christ Child at Christmas.
Through Christ our Lord,
Amen
