MORNING PRAYER
As we come back to school after our Christmas break, we reflect on
the fun of family events, great food, and less busy days. However, the fun
and joy of the Christmas season is still not over. Until January 10th, we are in a special liturgical time of the
year called the octave of Christmas. We are invited to continue to embrace
the joy that the Christ Child brings the world at Christmas time.
As we continue to celebrate the joy we get
from the Christ Child,
make us aware of the true gifts we have to share with loved
ones.
Help us to extend our capacity for compassion,
so that we may help those in need.
Thank you for the gift of the Christ Child
who fills our lives with love and hope.
Amen
