Heavenly Father, 
We thank you for our school and the gift of this school year where we focus on hope.   
Help us to understand that hope comes from knowing Jesus’ story and our faith.   
Help us to embrace hope during the good times and the bad.   
Help us to walk in Your light, and live our lives in hope, 
through your graces, and guided by love.

SENIOR FOOTBALL PEP RALLY

A Senior Football Pep Rally will be featured Thursday, September 21st at noon on the stage in the Commons to prepare for the Canadian Tire Classic against Carleton later in the day.

UPSTAGE PRODUCTIONS

Students who are interested in working backstage for the play are invited to an informational meeting on Friday, September 22^nd at 12:40 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.

BOARD GAME CLUB

The board game club will be meeting every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch in the Community Room. This club will run all year.  Everyone is welcome!

WRESTLING

Students who are interested in wrestling this year are to contact Ms. Richards in Room 128 (Library).  Students are also encouraged to pay attention to community announcements.

PRINCE ALBERT WRESTLING CLUB

Club wrestling will be starting soon.  If you are interested in wrestling this year, please see Ms. Richards in Room 128 (library).  We are especially looking for Grade 9 athletes born in in 2004 or 2005 to participate in the Sask Winter Games in February.

SPIRITUAL CLUB

Are you interested in being part of a new club within our school?  The spiritual club is that opportunity! The overarching theme of the spiritual club is to promote and enhance Catholic values within our school. This group will focus on three areas: service, personal growth and liturgical planning.  If you are interested, please go to the Faith Formation office on to pick up a sheet with more information.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS
Scholastic Book Orders fliers are now available in the Library for the month of September. Orders are due Wednesday, September 27^th.

Art Club meets every Monday from 3:30 p.m.- 5:00 p.m in the Art Room (B18). Everyone is welcome to attend. Come on out to make some great art!

• Luther College Information Night 2017 - October 5, 2017 from 7:00 p.m to 9:30 p.m. 
• What is Engineering 2017? - October 11, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
• 2017 Fall Open House - October 14, 2017 from 9:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m.

U of S OPEN HOUSE 

Any student who wants to attend the University of Saskatchewan Open House on Friday, September 29th, 2017 needs to preregister online at explore.usask.ca. Throughout the day, students will

• Explore the campus and faculties
• Take part in hands on activities
• Meet University Staff and faculty
• Speak with current students about the U  of S experience

After registering, please see Mrs. Rapin or Mrs. Dauk in Student Services if you want to book a spot on the bus.

OPEN SHOP FOR PAA STUDENTS

Students who are currently taking PAA classes that involve construction or drafting are invited to use the shop equipment, under teacher supervision, during lunch hours every Monday - Thursday. Please contact Mr. Thalheimer or Mr. Welter for more information.
