Yet this ordinary day is filled with your loving kindness and your guiding Spirit. 
Thank you for the gift of this day. 
Help us face difficult times with courage and hope, 
and help us accept easy times with gratitude and humility. 
Make us more aware of your love for us
 and the joy you take in us as we go through this ordinary day.

Tuesday, September 13th – Pyjama Day and Tunes during lunch
Wednesday, September 14th ­– Hat Day – Pay 2$ at the office and wear your favourite hat at school.
Thursday, September 15th ­– Twin Day and Human Bingo in the commons during lunch (Prizes!)
Friday, September 16th – Blue and White Day – Wear your blue and white and take a picture with the Smurf at lunch!

MODEL UN 

Students who are interested in participating in Model UN are invited to attend a meeting on TODAY at 12:30 p.m. in room B14 (Mr. Ogrodnick’s room). Please contact Mr. Ogrodnick if you are not able to attend.

Are you interested in meeting to write, draw or report about the school for creativity and fun? If so, please come to room B27 on Tuesday, September 13th or Wednesday September 14th to sign up for the school newspaper group. Please see Mrs. Daniel-Minier in room B27 for more details.

KYLA ART GROUP ANNUAL ART SHOW
The Kyla Art Group is having its annual art show at the Mann Art Gallery on Sunday, October 16th and they are looking for some student art to go in the exhibition. If you are interested in possibly having your art selected for the show, please come and talk to Miss Hawryluk sometime TODAY in the Art Room (B18) for more information. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE TAKING ART TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK!

OPENING LITURGY POSTPONED 

Due to unforeseen circumstances the opening liturgy will be postponed from Friday, September 9th to Friday, September 16th.

JAZZ BAND 

Regular rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, September 14th at 3:30 p.m. in the band room.
