MORNING PRAYER
Prayer for the Sick
Loving
Lord,
You always come to meet us wherever we are.
Give to all those serving
sentences in our prisons the strength
to lift first their eyes and then their
hearts to recognise your light.
Raise them up to stand in your presence and
serve you,
set them free from the power of darkness,
make them ready to start
again and learn to walk in your Light.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen

pray for and send loving thoughts to those who are imprisoned. Staff and
students who have loved ones who may be imprisoned in various ways are
challenged to take the time to go visit them. All classes will be
challenged to contribute a loving thought in a card to bring the light of
Christ to an inmate. Once you have participated in your class's activity, ask your teacher to initial your passport for you. The class with the highest
percentage of completed passports will receive a pizza party and students
who complete their passports will have their names put into a draw for a $30 lunch card.
