PICTURE PROOFS ARE IN!!
If you are ordering pictures your form and money must be in by September 30th. After that date, you will be charged a late fee. Homeroom teachers have your proofs. You pay your homeroom teacher when you place your order. Students without a home room may pick up their proofs at the office.
PULLING FOR A CURE UPDATE
The event has been postponed until tomorrow. Please remember to return all of the pledge forms. So far, St. Mary High School has raised over $3000!
TERRY FOX FOUNDATION: PULLING FOR A CURE
TODAY , a 72-passenger bus (13,048 kg) will be situated outside the school at 12:50 p.m. Teams will take turns pulling the bus “uphill” for 25 metres, and the time will be recorded. The 2013 Teams (15 male and 15 female) are as follows:

- Donate money in the classroom.
- Get a pledge sheet from the library and canvas friends and family for donations. (This activity counts as 2 hrs community service.)
- Join a team to help pull the bus. Sign up with a team Teacher Captain.
- Cheer on the teams while they are “Pulling for a Cure”.
U of S OPEN HOUSE
Reminder to students who have signed up to attend the U of S Open House on Friday, October 3rd that we will be meeting at the front doors of St. Mary High School at 7:45 a.m. There is still room on the bus so if you would like to attend, please see Mrs. McLeod or Mrs. Rapin by 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd.

The Loran Award seeks to recognize students that demonstrate character, leadership and commitment and service to the community. U of S OPEN HOUSE
The U of S Open House is an annual event for prospective students and will be taking place on October 4, 2013. Prospective students are invited to spend time on campus to experience the U of S in full swing. Through interactive information sessions, tours and other activities,students can learn more about the wide variety of programs and services available at the U of S. St. Mary students may travel by bus but must sign up in Student Services with Mrs. McLeod or Mrs. Rapin by Monday, September 30th. The cost is $10.00. Students must register themselves online.
